Stanislaus State Taps Brunk To Lead Major Gifts Office

The Division of University Advancement at California State University, Stanislaus has named Kevin M. Brunk as its new Director for Major Gifts.

Brunk, a long-time Oakdale resident who graduated from Cal Poly with a bachelor’s degree in architecture, comes to Stanislaus State with nearly 30 years of experience and expertise in fundraising, sales and account management, business development, sponsorship, volunteer development and team leadership.

“I’m thrilled to be part of the University Advancement team here at Stan State, and look forward to contributing to the praiseworthy work of providing students and the University with greater resources to continue the academic excellence and top notch environment our University provides,” Brunk said.

Brunk, his wife Cheryl and adult children John and Kristen have been actively engaged in support of local non-profits and education for many years.

For the last 17 years he has been a key member of the leadership within the American Cancer Society, where he served in a variety of national leadership roles, including Vice President of Sales and Account Management and other revenue generation, mission advancement and account relationship management positions.
