Oakdale Church of the Nazarene is hosting the movie, ‘Back To The Future II’ on Wednesday, Oct. 21 – tonight – at 6:30 p.m. at the church, 1700 W. F St., Oakdale.

“There are two reasons that make this event significant,” noted spokesman Joshua Tigner. “In the movie Back To The Future II, they travel into the future. Specifically Wednesday, October 21, 2015. Consider this film was produced 25+ years ago and we’re just getting to that date. This day only comes once in a lifetime!

“Second, I’m about 99.9 percent sure that we’re the only church in the entire Central Valley that will be showing this movie and have a real DeLorean on display.”

All are welcome to attend this event, with the 1981 DMC DeLorean (like the one featured in the movie) on display as well. The show will be staged in the grassy area adjacent to the parking lot at the church. There will be food items for sale, and all food sales benefit Syrian refugees.
