The annual Knights Ferry Community Club will serve up its annual Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser on Saturday, March 19 at 5 p.m. in the clubhouse.
This is the club’s biggest moneymaker of the year and it helps pay insurance and other operational costs. The dinner is hosted each year in conjunction with the annual Civil War Days in the Ferry and organizers said they were extremely pleased that an earlier cancellation of the re-enactment has been lifted, and the Civil War event will be hosted in the community on March 19 and 20.
The dinner itself will be served starting at 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 19 at a cost of $7 for adults and $4 for children under 10. The menu includes spaghetti, salad, bread, dessert and drinks and there will also be drawing for raffle items.
All are encouraged to attend; see the Civil War battles, tour the campsites and then stay in the Ferry for dinner.
