With Easter Sunday coming up this weekend, it’s time for the annual Kids Spring Fest, hosted each year at Kerr Park, at the end of North Stearns Road in Oakdale.

Scheduled for Saturday, April 15, hours for the fest are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Activities are co-sponsored by the Oakdale Kiwanis Club and the City of Oakdale. Along with the Easter Egg Hunts offered free for kids – with different times for different ages – the event also include games, music, face painting, free hot dogs and more. No cost to attend.

Also joining the holiday fun is the Heritage School of Discovery at 1501 Magnolia, offering up its own Easter Egg Hunt and Family Fun Day, open to all. Egg hunts will be offered in different age groups for youngsters; bring your own basket to hunt for eggs. The hunt starts at 11 a.m. and there will also be games, arts and crafts, along with hot dogs, chips and more, free for the community.
