Officers Spearheading Drive

Members of the Oakdale Police Officer’s Association are starting Operation “Fill the Cruiser” today, Tuesday, Aug. 8.

A police car will be stationed at CVS from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. today, accepting donations to help local kids in need as they get ready to head back to school.

Come out and help; this program is designed to partner with the community to get back to school donations; pencils, backpacks, notebooks, crayons … any and all donations are welcome.

Once the operation is completed, all products will be donated to the school district for distribution to help all kids succeed.

The police cruiser will be at a few different locations over the next couple of days; be on the lookout for it. You can also stop by and drop off a donation at the Oakdale Police Department for the “Fill the Cruiser” effort.
