The Oakdale Women’s Club is meeting Tuesday, Sept. 13 at the Oakdale Golf and Country Club. The buffet luncheon will start at noon. The theme is Back to School and the featured speaker is Christina Carmelich. Local women are encouraged to come to the luncheon and enjoy hearing Christina, a docent at Columbia State Park, speak about the Columbia’s old school house and its history.

There will be a Back to School used book sale during the luncheon, with all proceeds of the sale going to The Friends of the Library.

The cost of the luncheon is $16. Make your reservation early by calling Linda Rossi at 606-7727. Deadline for reservations is Thursday, Sept 8.
