Joseph A. Guerrero, a 2015 graduate of Oakdale High School, attended Adams State College, Colorado and joined the United States Coast Guard.

He graduated Sept. 22, 2017 as a Seaman Apprentice (E-2) in X-194 Company, Camp May, New Jersey and is stationed on US Coast Guard Cutter Midgett in Seattle, WA.

His deck duties include Line Handling and Boat Launch/Recovery.
