Les Schwab Tire Centers has completely remodeled its Oakdale store and invites the public to a one-day grand reopening event on Saturday, Aug. 20.

The celebration features giveaways, food, savings and fun.

The Oakdale Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m.

Throughout the day, Les Schwab will have a prize wheel that attendees can spin to win prizes, as well as discounts on Les Schwab services. Visitors will enjoy a complimentary barbecue lunch served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

While folks enjoy the festivities, they can take advantage of Les Schwab’s free pre-trip safety check, which includes checking tire pressure and tread depth, visual alignment, brakes, shocks and battery.

“We’ll provide a fun atmosphere and giveaways that families can enjoy together,” said Brandon Lamb, manager of the Oakdale location, who has been with the company for 14 years. “This is a great way for us to engage with our neighbors and introduce the Oakdale community to our newly remodeled store.”

The newly remodeled Oakdale Les Schwab Tire Center is located at 1300 E. F St.

Les Schwab’s newest store design provides greater access to daylight and views for customers and employees. There is ample parking and a comfortable lounge where customers can enjoy popcorn, vending machines, coffee, television and free Wi-Fi while they wait. The store was remodeled to include green technology principles in lighting, ventilation and energy-efficient systems. The remodel increases the size of the store to approximately 7,335 square feet, including six service bays, as well as the addition of a commercial truck slab and canopy. There is also a 5,000 square foot warehouse.

Les Schwab Tire Centers (www.lesschwab.com) is one of the leading independent tire dealers in the United States, with more than 7,000 employees and more than 460 locations throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, California, Nevada, Utah and Colorado.
