For those interested in getting special books to read over the holidays, the Oakdale Library has special holiday hours.

The library is open on Christmas Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 24 from 10a.m. to noon. It is closed on Christmas Day, Wednesday, Dec. 25. The library resumes its normal hours on Thursday, Dec. 26 from 10a.m. to 8p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 28 from 10a.m to 5p.m.

The library will be open on Monday, Dec. 30 from 10a.m. to 6p.m., on New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 31 from 10a.m. to 5p.m., and closed on New Year’s Day, Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014. After that, it will be back to its regular schedule.

The Oakdale Library is closed on Fridays and Sundays.
