A special meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 27 for final adoption of the Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Protection District budget for the 2016-17 fiscal year.

The district’s Board of Directors adopted the preliminary budget at a meeting of June 9 and will offer a final budget plan for public review prior to formal adoption.

The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Sept. 27 at 3318 Topeka St., Riverbank. At that time, any person may appear and comment regarding any item in the budget or regarding the addition of other items.

A complete copy of the preliminary budget as adopted is on file with the Clerk of the Board and is available for inspection and copying at District Headquarters, 3324 Topeka St., Riverbank, during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
