Due to the federal government shutdown, some upcoming events planned at New Melones Lake have been cancelled. They are listed below.

C.A.S.T. (Catch a Special Thrill) for Kids fishing event scheduled on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 8a.m. to 2p.m. at New Melones Lake’s Tuttletown Boat Launch in the Tuttletown Recreation Area.

Melones Branch of the Sierra Railway, Sunday, Oct. 13, at 10a.m. at Peoria Wildlife Management Area four-mile roundtrip hike beginning at the Peoria Wildlife Equestrian Staging Area on Peoria Flat Road.
