The Oakdale City Council was scheduled to host a special meeting Tuesday night, Nov. 27 – after The Leader went to press in closed session to discuss the position of the current interim city manager, Stanley Feathers.

Feathers, who replaced Greg Wellman as Oakdale’s City Manager, is a former Modesto budget officer, and Atwater finance director and interim city manager. The 7 p.m. meeting was scheduled to include a time for public comments and then the council was going into closed session for the public employment discussion regarding the City Manager position.
