Youngsters from throughout the community escaped the summer’s triple digit heat to take part in LEGO Days hosted at the Oakdale Library earlier this month. Here, Oakdale youngster Madalynn Castillo, 7, makes herself comfortable building a structure as well as an automobile with a variety of the colorful bricks. The next LEGO Day will be offered on Thursday, July 28 at 3:30 p.m. at the Oakdale Library, 151 S. First Ave. Also, the library’s Computer Classes will be reviewing Basics, Part 1 and Part 2, on Tuesdays, Aug. 2 and Aug. 9. Classes begin at 10:30 a.m. Call the Library at 847-4204 for info and to reserve your space, each session is limited to four people.
