As part of their 75th Anniversary Celebration, the Gospel Center Rescue Mission is hosting its inaugural “Spinning With A Mission” bicycling fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 7 at Oak Park in Stockton. All proceeds raised for the event will benefit the mission and the programs they offer to aid the homeless and addicted in the community. The Gospel Center Rescue Mission is the only agency in San Joaquin County that meets the long-term needs of the homeless and has the highest success in their recovery.
Registration is $40 in advance and $50 day of the event and includes a T-shirt, raffle tickets and lunch. Registration begins at 7 a.m. at Oak Park. Two different rides are offered. For those embarking on the 26-mile bike ride, the ride kicks off at 8 a.m. For the 15-mile bikers, the ride will begin at 9 a.m. Both will finish back at Oak Park between 11 a.m. and noon. Lunch will be served following the race.
The Gospel Center Rescue Mission is celebrating 75 years of ministering to the homeless and addicted in San Joaquin County by presenting the opportunity for spiritual, physical and emotional restoration through the love of Jesus Christ.
