YES (Youth Entertainment Stage) KIDETTES are seeking students in first through fifth grades to be actors, singers, and dancers for Disney’s “Winnie the Pooh KIDS.” Open auditions to be held on Wednesday, Aug. 29 at 4p.m. at Johansen High School Theatre. No experience or preparation necessary. All audition materials are provided.

Based on the beloved characters of A.A. Milne and the 2011 Disney animated feature film, Disney’s Winnie The Pooh KIDS welcomes audiences to the Hundred Acre Wood, where Winnie the Pooh is once again in search of honey. Along the way, he meets his pals Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit, and Owl, but soon discovers that Christopher Robin has been captured by the Backson. As they prepare for a rescue operation, the animals learn about teamwork, friendship, and sharing snacks.

The Stanislaus County Office of Education and Education Foundation of Stanislaus County, proudly sponsors the YES KIDETTES as they bring to life Disney’s musical “Winnie the Pooh KIDS”.

Production commitment is extracurricular and includes weekends, Sept. 19 – Nov. 6, 2012. A tuition of $175 per student is in place to help defer production costs; scholarships are available. For additional information about these auditions and performance times, visit www.yescompany.org.
