The Thanksgiving Feast put on by the Knights Ferry Junior High was very well attended. The tables at the clubhouse were decorated with trees and turkeys and leaf placemats. Elise Seeds and Katherine Schwandt were the greeters at the door, welcoming everyone to the feast. Marina Braaton liked the cooking.
Madison Willis enjoyed setting everything up. Moriah Loomis liked serving and meeting the people. The food was great and all had a good time.

December 4th is Breakfast Sunday in the Ferry with a Christmas Parade through town about noontime. The Museum will be open also.

Condolences go out to Betty Rogers and her family on the death of her mother-in-law Bessie Rogers, 106 years old. Bessie lived in the Ferry for many years.

Janice Muniain Bender took her sister Eunice Muniain Gier, who was visiting from Washington, on a tour around Knights Ferry.
They ended up at the school, where Eunice attended from First Grade on, and she wanted all to know what a wonderful school and play ground it was. A lot different from when she went there.

Thanksgiving Day found all of Carol Davis’s family gathered at her home for dinner. Lee and Mary Sue Shearer went to daughter Victoria Krippner’s home where grandson Alex was home from Cal Poly. Michael and Maureen McKibban had son Ross and grandchildren Cole and Luke at Thanksgiving. Gary and Barbara Shook had daughter Sonia, her husband Blair and the grandchildren up from Southern California for Thanksgiving.

The results are in for the KFS Jog-a-Thon. The most laps run by a Kindergartner was by Alexis Elting. Aubrey Harris and Xavier Olvera ran the most laps for First Grade. Second Graders (ties) were Maribel Limon, Emalee Watson, Avalea Yates, and Anthony Neely running the most laps. Marcada Baker and Presley Wilson placed first for Third Grade while Logan Martinelli and Alex Arias ran the most for Fourth Grade. Fifth Grade saw Eden Cassinetto and Dayne Sturtevant come in first.
For Sixth Grade, Julia Nilsson and Ray Patton had the most laps. For the Junior High, most laps run (ties) were by Shaela Borba, Moriah Loomis, Salvador Limon, Cleo Wilson and Erick Ramirez. Way to go!
