Sunday, August 3rd is the monthly Odd Fellows breakfast. For $10 you will receive ham, eggs and pancakes. For every meal they sell $1 goes to their scholarship fund for local youth.

A celebration of life for Chuck Arnold will be at 2pm, August 10th at 4837 Ellenwood Road, Oakdale. There will be BBQ Tri Tip, Brats, and a few sides. If you can please bring a side dish that would be very appreciated and helpful.

The Knights Ferry History and Museum Associates will be open on Sunday, August 3rd, 2025 from 11am until 3pm. They are located upstairs above the Ice Cream Shop. A lift is available if stairs are a problem.

Since school is right around the corner, here is some history about our little school on the hill! The first school building was built in 1865 near the center of town. That building burned down on July 4, 1899, and was replaced the same year with a two-story white schoolhouse. Sadly, that structure too was destroyed by fire in 1971. The current school building was dedicated on March 30, 1974, with the Masonic Grand Lodge of California laying the cornerstone. Today, the school serves students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
