This coming Tuesday, July 8th, from 5pm to 9 pm, Free Market will be at Rick’s Saloon for a special event celebrating the music of The Beatles. Nathan Ignacio is bringing together a talented group of musicians to perform their favorite Beatles songs.
The grill will be serving tacos from 5pm to 8pm.
Free Market will also be fundraising during the show to support their ongoing efforts in the Knights Ferry Community Garden. Current projects include building community composting bins as well as relocating a colony of bats from the Odd Fellows Lodge to a newly constructed bat house, ensuring their safety and continued presence in the area.
There will also be a raffle and a selection of handmade items for sale. Be sure to visit Free Market’s booth to show your support and learn more about their work.

Did you know that river levels are constantly changing? The deeper the water and the faster the flow, the more dangerous it becomes to be in, on, or near the river. During summer, our local firefighters and law enforcement teams are frequently called out for water rescues.
To stay safe, never swim alone and always wear a life jacket. It’s also highly recommended to pay close attention to water levels to protect yourself and your loved ones. The Army Corps provides a variety of life jackets in multiple sizes at no cost, available at the lower parking lot near the river entrance.
