Join the Odd Fellows for their monthly community potluck on Wednesday, August 26 at 6pm. This month they will be serving sausages and brats. Buns and chips will also be provided. Guests are encouraged, but not required, to bring an appetizer, side dish or dessert to share. Dinner is served at 6pm at the Odd Fellows Lodge, come early to socialize if you’d like!

Thursday, August 27, join the folks at Rick’s for Thankful Thursday. This week they’ll be serving Enchilada Casserole with rice and beans. Come on down, buy a drink and get this delicious meal for free. Dinner will be served from 5pm-8pm.

Mark your calendars for the Oakdale Fire Protection District Meetings. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at 10am. Odd numbered months the meeting is held at the Knights Ferry Community Club. On even numbered months the meetings will be held at the Valley Home Fire Department.

The Knights Ferry Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) meetings are held quarterly on the fourth Thursday of January, April, July and October at 7pm at Knights Ferry Community Club. The next meeting will be October 22.
