At the Knights Ferry MAC meeting David Leamon from the Stanislaus County Department of Public Works spoke on Measure L. Because of its passing, each road in the County will be treated three times in 25 years. Also he commented on the closing of Rodden Road May 3 for six weeks to repair the damaged culvert between Gibbs Drive and Eaton Road. The rains washed out the underneath part and the road is collapsing. The California Highway patrolman told of the new Dodge Chargers added to the fleet. Ruben Imperial from the county spoke of the public health warning not to go south if pregnant because of the Zika virus. Under old business the AT&T building will be repainted, cleaned up and oleanders planted on three sides. The first week in May Dean and Ellen Road collapse will be repaired. The MAC approved the pool design of Brendt Noon Jr. There will be two positions on the MAC open for election in November and five open on the CSD.
