Knights Ferry School got off to a great start with 120 enrolled. New Kindergarteners and TKs are: Malia Olivo, Everett Holtsman, Xochili Lau-Vargas, Sophia Leslie, Stetson Travao, Wyatt Birdsong, Alizay Cardosa, Jasper Davis, Adrian Arias, Jax Poncabare, Bertin Pineda-Medina, Pablo Martinez, Bowen Sunderland, Angeline Hyde, Jocelyn Schlicht, Colton Camara, Aubrey Sibley, Kyle Mangante, Cole Schlicht, Jeremy Ryan and Colin Gibson. Have a great year!

Jim and Diane Boyer and son Scott and Rhonda have returned from a trip to New Orleans. Diane got to hold an alligator (she has pictures) and they took an airboat through the swamp. They visited the D Day museum, toured Jefferson Davis’s home, visited Oak Alley sugar cane plantation; the group ate a lot of good food and of course stopped at Café Dumonde.

Welcome to the world Quinton Patton, born August 8th to Josh and Michelle. He joins siblings Carter, Dane, Lily and Kaeli at home in the Ferry.

Back to School night is tonight, August 24 starting with K-4 teachers presenting their classroom at 5:00 p.m. (Note change). A special presentation will follow then the 5-8 teachers will present their classrooms. Natalie Brockman will be in the Library to introduce the band instruments.

The M.A.C. will meet Thursday, August 25th at 7:00 p.m. in the clubhouse.
