Don’t forget! Knights Ferry School’s Color Run is on October 14 with opening ceremonies beginning at 8:30am. The kids are excited to wear their white shirts and run through the colorful clouds around the track while they raise money for their school activities.

Calling teens who may be in need of volunteer/community service hours! The Community Club is hosting a Love Knights Ferry community event on October 22, 2022 from 8am-10am. The town is in need of yard work help including raking leaves, picking up trash, pruning, and removing cobwebs from the outside of buildings on Main Street. The Club is inviting anyone young and old to come and help because there is a job for everyone. Contact Heather Voortman at the Knights Ferry Creamery for more information.

The Pumpkin Roll is November 6, 2022 and the Community Club is looking for vendors. They have vendors inside the Clubhouse and outside in the courtyard. Megan Peterson, vendor coordinator is looking for homemade and/or unique vendors that are not food or drink vendors. Contact Megan at martinellimegan@hotmail.com for more information.

For all local Amazon customers, the Knights Ferry Post Office has been advised Amazon has suspended delivery service to our area and Sonora due to an inordinate number of driver accidents and customer complaints on our route. All Amazon packers for Knights Ferry PO customers will be delivered to our small Post Office regardless of the address. The Post Office is extremely small so it is important that customers pick up their packages as soon as they have been notified of delivery. If Knights Ferry PO Box is not on the package, it will be held for pickup but returned as undeliverable. Amazon has not provided the Post Office an end date for this change so until then, be sure to put the PO Box on the package and pick up packages as soon as notified.
