The Knights Ferry General Store is under new management! Linda Osborne opened the General Store, Deli, and Saloon on February 1. General Store hours are Thursday through Tuesday from 8am-8pm and the Saloon will be open 12am-10pm except on Fridays and Saturdays when they are open until 2am! The saloon will have live music and bands scheduled to play. The Deli will be open to serve wings and other appetizers for the month of February. They will have a grand opening in March where Linda will serve dishes like Glenda’s famous Hot Hawaiian sandwich, burgers, and fresh soups and chili.

Will and Edith Haskell-Kelly are the proud parents of sweet baby girl, Zelia Edith! Grandma Dolly Haskell is overjoyed with the arrival of baby Zelia and shared that she is a beautiful and healthy baby girl! Baby Zelia was born on January 23, 2023 and weighed 5lbs., 15oz. It is a pleasure to see the next generation of Knights Ferry locals sprouting up!

Jim McCarthy’s graveside service and potluck reception was well attended by a community of friends and family gathered to pay respect to the entire McCarthy family and to honor Jim. Jim was a very important member of our community and it just won’t be the same without him.

The Odd Fellows Bald Mountain Encampment #4 has installed new Officers. The installing Officer was Past Grand Patriarch, Fred Dolling and the new officers are Chief Patriarch Ernie Albice, Senior Warden Pilar Kopping, Jr, Warden Wendell Watson, High Priestess Shirley Watson, Scribe Tom Kopping, Treasurer Fred Dolling, and Color Bearer Bryan Kopping.
