Six Lady Mustangs Sign To Play In College

Signing Day was celebrated at Oakdale High School on Thursday, with six Lady Mustang athletes putting pen to paper and solidifying their college choices.

Volleyball, Golf and Softball were all represented as senior athletes signed in the foyer of the Mustang gym in front of an audience of family, friends, coaches and school officials.

For the volleyball team, Kailee Whorton will be attending and playing for Stanislaus State, an NCAA D2 school in Turlock.

From the girls golf team, Madison Blanc will be moving on after high school to play for and attend NAIA Marian University in Indianapolis, Indiana and Andrea York will continue to play collegiately at NCAA D3 University of Redlands in Redlands, California.

Softball will see Jazzlynn Velasquez attending NCAA D3 LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas; Rilyn Cassaretto will be heading to NCAA D2 Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho and Cortney Koelmans signed to play for and attend NCAA D2 Concordia University in Irvine, California.
