A packed house of swimmers and onlookers at the Oakdale Aquatic Center did little to rattle the host Oakdale Gators youth swim program on June 9 at the Oakdale Invitational. Gators swimmers accounted for four event championships and an impressive 25 total top-five finishes in the competing events.

The successful youth swim program has seen an increase in participation in 2012, and the numbers have only added up to faster times and impressive showings as the season progresses.

The program earns collective Athlete of the Week recognition for its efforts.
