Oakdale High's varsity wrestling team is ranked 16th in the state by the California Wrestling Newsletter. That talent will be on display on Wednesday, Jan 9 when the team hosts Manteca and Lathrop in the first of four dual meet events that represent the Valley Oak League regular season schedule.

The tri-meet with Manteca and Lathrop is the second-to-last chance to catch Oakdale in action at home this year, as they face Sonora at home at Jan. 30 and depart on a five week postseason road trip afterwards.

The Mustangs are favored to win the VOL and another Sac-Joaquin Section Division IV Team Dual Championship.
