Oakdale’s varsity hardwood girls finished the 2015-2016 season on hard times. In what was a once promising season under first year varsity head coach Julie Ford, the team finished the season on an 11-game losing streak. The squad finished the season at East Union where Oakdale lost 52-38.

The varsity girls went 8-18 overall, 1-13 in the Valley Oak League and battled through an injury-riddled season. In the team’s loss to East Union (26-1, 14-0) Sarah Bohrer scored 14 points for the Lady Mustangs and pulled down seven rebounds. Senior guard Colleen Ibasco added 10 points and four rebounds. Senior Micaela Maaske made her defensive presence felt as she recorded four blocks and pulled down seven rebounds.
