After the first month of Valley Oak League action, the Oakdale Mustangs are tied for first place with Central Catholic at 4-0. This Friday night, Oakdale travels to Kimball High School to face the Jaguars. Oakdale is coming off a 48-7 home win over Sierra. The Mustangs have shown zero signs of a “championship hangover,” performing at a consistently high level. In the four VOL games this season, Oakdale has only allowed 46 points, while scoring 185.
Kimball (1-6, 1-3) is coming off a 51-6 road loss to Manteca. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. following the junior varsity showdown that is scheduled for 5 p.m.
