Oakdale H.S. - Softball

Oakdale High junior Lauren Sanders started her 2012 varsity softball campaign with a bang, belting two home runs in two games as Oakdale won hard-fought pre-season contests against Merced (9-3) and Enochs (6-1).

Sanders hit 3 for 5 across both games and has already shown signs of the success that enabled her to join the varsity team as a sophomore for the 2011 playoffs. She earns Athlete of the Week recognition for her hot start.
