Dear Editor,

This letter is to the Oakdale City Council:

Since the election you have made a promise to the residents of Oakdale to be more forthcoming in regards to transparency in issues concerning the citizens in Oakdale. It has been brought to our attention that a 70 foot AT&T cell phone tower is to be erected near the corner of Yosemite Avenue and A Street. When were we, the citizens, going to be informed of this? In small print at the end of our phone bills? Where is the impact report, since the area contains residential and business properties? When were we going to be informed since the ground has already been surveyed and marked for construction? Rather than transparency, this issue appears to be cloudy, nebulous, and murky.
