What Is Their Agenda?

Dear Editor,

It is hard not to notice from the placement of yard signs that three of the candidates for the Hospital Board are running as a triad. When three run as a slate it brings up some interesting questions about their motive for doing so.

Obviously they have met and conferred before making the decision to do this. If elected will they vote as a block in order to control the hospital’s operation? Is it their plan to “clean house” once in office? Will they even consider the opinions of the other two board members who are not part of the triad?

Elected officials should be independent thinkers and not tied to any special interest group. That is one of our major problems in government today.

Before you vote on November 2 please consider this situation.
