Dear Editor,

For the people that do not know this outstanding candidate Pat Paul for Mayor, she has been a resident of Oakdale for 35 years. During that time she has been a Council member for eight years and a Stanislaus County Supervisor for 16 years. She has been instrumental in many achievements for the county as well as for the City of Oakdale. This shows the type of leadership we need for Mayor of Oakdale. I recognize a leader and Pat Paul is that leader.

I was a Councilman in Tracy, California from 1976 to 1984, during that time I was Mayor Pro Tem and active Mayor for one year, so I know what it takes to be Mayor. Pat Paul has been in local government for 24 years serving her community. I intend to vote for Pat Paul for Mayor and I urge you to do the same.
