Dear Editor,

I am supporting Pat Paul for mayor of Oakdale. She is a long-time resident of Oakdale and knows our community well.

Pat has the heart for the job. She helped establish the Stanislaus County Woman’s Shelter. She works now at the literacy center. Once she helped our family with mental health issues.

Pat has the head for the job. She is well educated and taught high school.

She has shown she is a can-do person when she helped start the Oakdale Farmers Market.

Pat has the hands for the job. She’s now retired and has the time to devote to civic responsibilities. She is an energetic and quick thinking problem solver.

Pat, a long-time friend, is my choice for mayor.
