Dear Editor,

Larry Kay is right. In a recent issue’s letters to the editor Mr. Kay pointed out that Pat Paul is the right candidate that has the foresight, intellect and leadership we need in Oakdale. Had her vision and support for the Crossroads shopping center to be built in Oakdale been in place four years ago we would have the safety and security a good police department provides.

It’s time for a change in the way business is conducted in our wonderful community.

We can no longer have a police force that is utilized by only the wealthy and politically connected citizens of Oakdale. We all need to feel secure in our homes.

I urge you to vote the incumbents out.
