Dear Editor,

Double Trouble Volleyball Club is wrapping up our second year. We are an Oakdale based club team that practiced and participated in Northern California Volleyball Association sanctioned tournaments. Our players range in age from 10 to 18 years old and the season runs from December through May.

This club would not be possible without the efforts and support of Oakdale Junior High School, Valley Home School and the folks at the District office. Their cooperation and help with facilities is immeasurable and for this we thank them. I would like to thank the players themselves and their families for their support, you were awesome! Thanks to all our coaches and especially our local coaches Jolene Thompson and Alexis Evans who did a fantastic job of improving the skills in all of their players. My appreciation to Dave and Don Hoy of DHC for always making themselves available to help out in any capacity.

We will strive to keep this club Oakdale based to help support the growth and success within the Volleyball programs at Oakdale’s Junior High and High School. We believe in keeping players’ skills up, costs down, and still leave time for their other activities as well. This is a great town with wonderful people and amazing volleyball!
