I want to publicly thank the Oakdale Garden Club for offering the sale of dogwood trees to the community. The sale was in front of the Tractor Supply store in the Raleys Market shopping center on Saturday, April 21. The Garden Club offered various sizes of dogwoods and the prices were extremely affordable. So much so that the first load sold out by 8:30 a.m. before they were formally opened for business at 9 a.m.

Another load was quickly arranged and again, that load sold out. Free herb, flower and vegetable seeds were offered as well as the services of a nurseryman and a Master Gardener to advise and answer questions. A map was also provided of where dogwoods are growing in Oakdale. The Oakdale Garden Club’s hope is to have dogwood trees all over our wonderful town. Many thanks to the Oakdale Garden Club.
