Dear Editor,

As a citizen of Oakdale, I want to commend Farrell Jackson for working with the council to bring jobs to Oakdale. Sconza Candy and Mid-Valley Foods are just a couple of examples. In a down economy this is very commendable! We need city leaders that understand business and have the vision to plan ahead. Such as annexing 450 acres of industrial area for future industries that will call Oakdale their home. Additional acres are annexed and shovel ready for retail on the west and the east ends of town. These tasks require vision with balance so as not to degrade our small town appeal. With your vote he will continue to work with the council to move us forward in a positive direction. Vote Farrell Jackson for the City Council two-year term.
