Dear Editor,

The Christmas spirit is alive and well and living amongst us. It is with a full heart that we thank the following businesses and residents for going above and beyond the call to make the 2nd Annual Old Fashioned Christmas a HUGE success!

Lori Vierra, Lori’s Creative Framing as coordinator, Lloyd Stueve, with his wagon and helpers, Haidlen Ford, Benjamin Tyler Day Spa, Cooks Communications, The Empty Nest, Kevin Fox Photography, Lighthouse Communications, Basi Insurance, Rich Novotny and Bob Dittman as Santa’s helpers, City of Oakdale, Oakdale Police Department, KAT Country Radio, Roasters Coffee, Valley Oak School of Dance, Raley’s and Oak Valley Bank.

A special thank you to all the businesses in Oakdale that donated, decorated and stayed open late and the volunteers, Vince Vierra and Sonia Herndon that took tickets and canned food, without you it couldn’t have happened!

All proceeds from the wagon rides that night and all canned food donated will be donated to Oakdale’s Guardian House.

Anyone who would like to be on the organizing committee next year, please contact Gwen or Jeannette at The Empty Nest, 847-9300 or emptynestjg@hotmail.com.

Merry Christmas and God Bless

Committee Members

Lori Vierra,

Jeannette Lawrence and Gwen Schmitt
