Mary Marcelyn ‘Marcie’ (Brasfield) Voorhees, 87, died peacefully on Monday, June 24 surrounded by her loved ones and compassionate caretakers at Valley Comfort, Modesto.

She was born in Tennessee. She was a resident of Stanislaus County for 77 years, and a resident of Oakdale since 1955.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Oery of Kailua – Kona, Hawaii.

A birthday celebration of life will take place in January.
