Helga Collins, age 83, peacefully went home to be with her Lord on Sept. 17, 2019. She lived most of her life in NJ raising her two daughters by herself and worked at the American Bible Society in New York City for 21 years. She spent her last six years living in Oakdale. She loved her family, nature, cowboy music, wrote poetry, was a prayer warrior and told everyone about her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Helga is survived by her daughter Heidi and husband, Dr. Joe Corso of Oakdale, CA; daughter Linda and husband, William Lehman of Ridgefield, NJ; and four grandchildren. Celebration of her life will be in her home state of NJ.
