Augustine “Augie” Ramos passed peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House on June 1, 2018 in Hughson, CA at the age of 69.
Augie is survived by his wife, Janice “Janny”; their children, grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Augie was born on June 15, 1948 in San Jose, CA. After moving to Oakdale with his wife in the late 80’s, he began working at Gilton Solid Waste and remained working there for 18 years. Augie also became a longtime member of the Oakdale Golf and Country Club. He loved to golf, barber, and make others around him laugh.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30p.m. at the Jones Residence (1568 Leah Court, Oakdale, CA). All are welcome to attend and celebrate Augie’s life. If you wish to send condolences, please mail to 229 Pinkston Avenue, Oakdale, CA.
