Alice F. Avila, 88, died Friday, March 11 at Oak Valley Care Center.
She was a native of Gilroy. She lived in Oakdale for 55 years.
Mrs. Avila was a housewife.
She is survived by her children, Mary (John) Mercurio, David Avila, Anthony Avila, all of Oakdale; sisters, Mary Ann Silva of San Jose, Adeline Lemos of Gilroy; brothers, Daniel Lemos of Riverbank, Tony Lemos of Hollister, James Lemos of Waterford; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4p.m. to 8p.m. on Monday, March 21 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel, with a rosary at 6p.m. A mass will be at 10a.m. on Tuesday, March 22 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Interment will be at Oakdale Citizen’s Cemetery.
