Top notch horses, Stetson hats and prized buckles will tell the story of the 2016 Oakdale Rodeo! Local roping and slack with make Friday, April 8th an exciting day for all. On Saturday, April 9th the annual Rodeo Parade will delight young and old through downtown Oakdale, with the rodeo action starting at 1:30 p.m., Grand Entry on Sunday. What a great place to be this weekend!

We end our column this week with our deepest sympathy to the family of our dear Knights Ferry friend, Mrs. Sherron McCarthy. Sherron was a wonderful part of most all Knights Ferry happenings. She was a true advocate of the rich history of the beautiful community of Knights Ferry. Sherron will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
