This week we would like to say “Thank You” to Mr. and Mrs. Glenn and Laura Burghardt. Glenn and Laura are two of our Valley Home Community’s most dedicated citizens! Glenn and Laura have done so much for our community over the past years. Laura wrote “The Valley Home News” for 38 years! She is an amazing woman with tremendous talents. Laura along with her devoted husband Glenn have worked tirelessly within our Valley Home community. Glenn has served on several community boards in Valley Home. He is considered by most to be our local historian. Glenn has compiled an amazing amount of information on the history of our small rural community! Laura and Glenn were always involved with so many events here in Valley Home. Together and with several other community members they worked tirelessly to make our Community Park a reality! Glenn served our country with great honor in the United States Navy. We are so thankful for these two devoted community members. Glenn and Laura, you are very important to our Valley Home community! We send a heartfelt “Thank You” to both of you, for everything you both have done to make our community so special. We salute you ... Glenn and Laura Burghardt!
