We are happy to share the latest information on Valley Home 4-H activities. Let’s give Christina Berreto and Rosie Campbell and their bake sale committee members a big thank you! They raised $146.50 at their November 13th bake sale and $294.00 at their December 11 bake sale. Special plaudits also to everyone who donated items to be sold! Sounds like everyone did a super job!
The 4-H members would also like to thank the students and families of Valley Home School, the community and our 4-H Club and families for your donations of canned food and other non-perishable items. With all of your donations and the combined generous donation made by our 4-H Club, we were able to make four Christmas baskets, complete with gifts for members of our community who needed a little extra help this year.

Parents and guests gathered in the Valley Home Multi-Purpose room on Friday evening to enjoy a spirited evening of entertainment by our students as they celebrated the coming Christmas Holiday with a wonderful evening of musical entertainment. One could not ask for a more delightful way to welcome in the in the season! The sparkling musical performances of all the participants had the rafters resounding with enthusiastic applause!
A big round of applause is certainly due Mr. Tom, Bonnie Gellerman and Mr. Taylor for their tireless work with the teachers and the ASP staff. Their combined efforts certainly blended to put together another wonderful Christmas program this year for parents and audience members to enjoy! The message was great and the student performance even better. What a wonderful way to welcome in the Holiday!

Lisa Jones reminds us that the PTC will be hosting their Second Annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, January 8th from 6:00 to 11 a.m. The cost of tickets are $3.00 each for 6-12 years of age and $6.00 for teenagers and adults. Contact Lisa at 840-3178 for advance tickets.

We offer loads of Happy Birthday wishes to Ryan Arnebeck and Dylan Arnebeck. Both young men celebrate their birthdays this month. Ryan celebrated his 15th birthday on December 14th and Dylan will be 12 years old on December 22nd. We all wish the two boys a very special Happy Birthday! Ryan and Dylan have the distinction of being 6th generation Valley Home family.

As the Christmas Holiday draws near it is time to gather up family members, dress in warm clothing, and take a leisurely drive through our community and take in the numerous lighted outdoor Christmas lighted displays. The moisture in the air really brings a special warm glow to the lights and warm glow to the heart!
