Hi everyone, I hope each of you is having a very nice day. Let’s continue to pray for all those who need God’s mercy and grace, including ourselves; we know there is much suffering among us … our prayers are with all.

There is much going on in Valley Home; please mark your calendars for March 24th, as tickets are now available for our delicious spaghetti dinner. All proceeds will go toward taking care of our beautiful little community park. Since our little park is owned by each of us, it is always good to share expenses, upkeep and funds brought in with everyone! Our main expenses are the insurance, the taxes, the PG&E, replacing broken sprinklers, and yes sadly sometimes our beautiful picnic tables need care. We are saddened when a very few but very unthoughtful write or carve into the beautiful wood table. What a lovely park we have; it’s so nice to see the folks who enjoy it! Our delicious spaghetti dinner will consist of spaghetti, a green garden salad, and a toasty dinner roll. This will be a drive thru style dinner at the park from 2:45 pm (after school) until 6 pm. Dinner date is Friday, March 24th and the cost is $15 with all proceeds going to our community park. Please help support our Valley Home treasure; ours is one of only a handful of parks in the entire state that is owed by its citizens. We are blessed for sure! Please consider enjoying a big plate of delicious spaghetti on the 24th and please, please, please get your dinners ordered and paid for by March 17th; this will allow us to know how much we need to purchase. Your support is very, very much appreciated. For those of you who would like to donate supplies or you maybe do not have an order form, call me, Winnie at 209-985-5233 before March 17th.

Jessica Caudle again this year has worked hard to create a clean-up day in Valley Home. She and Supervisor Buck Condit are working together to make this day happen for our community! Thank you to each of them. The clean-up day will be Saturday, April 29th from 8 am to 4 pm. Giant trash containers will be available on the Pioneer School campus; there will be items that you are asked to not place in the containers, please private message Jessica for more information.
