Our Valley Home 4-Hers met last evening for their monthly community meeting. The 4-Hers are holding a drive thru Tri Tip dinner this Friday evening. The Tri Tip will be smoked and the dinner will have sides of beans, dinner rolls and salad. The dinner will serve a family of four and the cost is $35. Proceeds will go toward the 4-Hers trip to Monterey Aquarium in May! For more information you may call 4-H president Sierra Haynes at 596-6672 or Community Leader Sean Haynes at 324-7286. Your support is greatly appreciated! Pick up location is the Valley Home school gym and dinners that have been purchased can be picked up between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

This Friday is the Student of the Month luncheon with school assembly taking place at 2:15 p.m. in the gym. The school board will meet on Tuesday, March 10 at 6 p.m. The board has advertised for a Superintendent to replace our current Superintendent who is retiring at the end of the school year.

Valley Home School is offering the opportunity for a team of our parents to become trained by Parenting Partners. Workshops combine parenting and leadership skills that empower parents to become vital contributors to their children’s success. The workshop is open to any parents who are interested in attending a two day workshop. Please contact Rolanda at 847-0117 if you are interested!
