Saturday, Oct. 17 featured bright sunshine and blue skies, the perfect setting for the Halloween Safety Boo Bash hosted at Galaxy Theatres in Riverbank and coordinated through Love Riverbank. There were costumed kids enjoying games, the chance to get some Halloween treats at a number of decorated vehicles, offering candy from their trunks, and lots of giveaways and information from community organizations. The three-hour event also included a couple of sensory tables and take-home craft projects for kids and tours of first responder vehicles such as the REACH air ambulance helicopter in addition to fire trucks, police cars and ambulances.
