A bad break ... Just as irrigation season is beginning our wonderful hard working neighbor Darlene Nunes suffered a broken foot. The break was very serious and will really be hard on Darlene. The Nunes family is well known throughout our Valley Home community for their dedication to this rural way of life we all love so much! Darlene and Alvin just give a holler if you need anything ... you know you have a community that thinks the world of you both and is ready to help in any way needed!

News from the school ... the search for a new superintendent/principal for Valley Home School is going well. Candidates will be interviewed this week. It is an exciting time for our school and we look forward to the wonderful future of Valley Home School! Go Hawks!

Reminder all box tops need to be turned in by April. Please turn your box tops in to Valley Home School in care of Sally Chrisman. All proceeds go directly to school activities and events!

Please note that the Hawks basketball game against Gratton has been rescheduled for today, Wednesday, March 25. The game will start at 11:00 a.m. Please come out and support our Valley Home basketball teams! Go Hawks!

More March birthdays ... John Personeni celebrates his big day, today March 25th, along with T.J. Verdegaal, Elsie Betschart, Ashley Barreto, and Aislinn Finn. The best of birthday wishes and many happy returns of this special day to each of you!

Valley Home students, remember to draw your jog-a-thon picture on the white T-shirt each of you were given. Great prizes are waiting for the winners! Be sure to be collecting your jog-a-thon pledges, they can be turned in on Monday, March 30th and again on Wednesday April 1st. Remember all T-shirts should be in good taste, no branding, and should be jog-a-thon oriented! Good luck to all!
