Our Valley Home Parent Club met this past Monday to make end of school year plans! This week students are encouraged to shower their teacher with appreciation. Each teacher was asked to send their choice of several favorites, such as, favorite color, favorite candy, favorite flower, and so forth! Students were then given these lists and are able to surprise their teacher with a chosen favorite each day this week! It’s a wonderful way for Valley Home students to say thank you to their special teacher!

It was an exciting time for our Valley Home 4-Hers last Tuesday, they met at the park to clean picnic tables and plant flowers! Thank you 4-Hers. It will be nice for the Teacher/Staff appreciation luncheon! Our Valley Home teachers and school staff will gather at the park tomorrow, Thursday to enjoy a delicious luncheon. A special thank you to our Parent Teacher Club for providing this very lovely luncheon.

Last Thursday our Valley Home 8th graders enjoyed a trip to see the Stockton Ports play, everybody had a great time.

Next Monday, our 3rd graders will travel to Moaning Caverns for a fun filled day!

Wednesday May 16th will be a minimum day for Valley Home students. There will be a meeting for all teachers after school is out.

Please return all sports uniforms, shirts (unless you purchased) and shorts. These should be turned in immediately. Final pickup for LifeTouch pictures, please return all pictures or your payment to your teacher or the office by Thursday May 17th!

Remember Kindergarten Graduation is on Wednesday May 23rd! They will graduate at 6:30 p.m. Immediately following the Kindergarten Graduation our Valley Home 8th graders will take the stage to graduate. The 8th graders are set to graduate 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday May 23rd! Both graduations will take place in the school gymnasium.
